The Argosaronic Gulf Islands, or Saronic Gulf as they are also known, are a unique and lovely group of islands located around the city of Athens and to the east of the Peloponnese.
This group of islands includes those such as Aegina, Hydra, Spetses and Poros. Each of these islands provide a perfect destination for your holidays and travel in Greece.
The Saronic Gulf islands are very popular with visitors to Athens, as they can easily be reached by ferry boats on a daily basis from the Athens port of Piraeus. The islands are also popular for Athenians for weekend breaks throughout the year.
